Artest grew up in an abusive NYC household. The kid has dealt with things I can’t imagine. In the NBA, I just like guys who give me something consistently. Artest gives me a great defensive effort every night of the year. I can’t ask for more than that considering his skill level, which is good, but not Lebron-like. I will take an Artest over Rasheed Wallace or Lamar Odom, guys who take nights off regularly, yet have higher skill levels. Think of it like marriage, consistency over time always beats the rollercoaster ride. I just like dependable people in my life, whether it’s my girlfriend or my NBA forward.

You have defended Steve McNair’s infidelity, yet you say you never cheated on your wife and could never do that. Are you lying or am I missing something? Mick, Virginia

It’s not that I encourage infidelity, I just understand it. If you’ve never traveled with pro athletes, it’s hard to describe. But gorgeous, often married women, throw themselves at jocks and pro athletes are guys filled with testosterone, competitive and confident, looking for the next challenge. Here’s a dirty little secret guys: Hot chicks like sex just as much as we do! They think about it, write about it, surf for it, but unlike us, they can get sex anytime they want. Time for us to grow up and realize they are chasing it as often as men are. And what a shock, they would find a 6′4 255 pound, chiseled dude, sort of attractive.

The NFC East is brutal, what’s your prediction? Cade, Fort Worth

This is a real tough call, bro. It’s like picking what steak I like best (bone in ribeye by the way). I would probably lean Eagles because of the experience at QB and the upgrades on offense. But the Giants were the best team in the NFL for 11 weeks last season. Dallas will be improved by releasing or moving three gutter balls. (Pac Man, Tank Johnson, T.O.) but they have a second tier coach in Wade Phillips. The Redskins defense is excellent and they’ve only gotten better this off-season, but they don’t have the weapons on offense to win the division. My best hunch is: Eagles 12-4 Giants 11-5 Cowboys 11-5 Redskins 9-7. We’re going to be hitting you with a ton of NFL-NCAA predictions over the next few weeks. Tell your bookie not to take it personally, but we’re going to take him to the cleaners this season!

I’m all about spending the weekend in Nantucket. It’s my favorite East Coast vacation destination. The summer thus far has been dreary and damp around here. I mostly hang with my kids though. We spend hours at the pool or riding bikes or just playing sports, nothing out of the ordinary. My son is a lefty and throws gas already. Is 4 years old too early to start HGH? But anyway, I am going to Bermuda in the spring and Spain in the winter. But mostly I prefer hanging out with my family and friends.
