Tiger’s Doctor Caught With Performance Enhancing Drugs
ByA doctor that has previously treated Tiger Woods during his recovery from knee surgery has been accused of trying to smuggle Actovegin, a drug from calf’s blood, into the United States. Dr. Anthony Galea was caught at the U.S.-Canadian Border and is being investigated for smuggling, advertising and selling unapproved drugs, the New York Times reported.
Dr. Galea was also caught with human growth hormone, which he had a prescription for. The sale of Actovegin is illegal in the United States.
Colleagues of Galea insist the doctor’s reputation is impeccable and he has nothing to hide. His naysayers, however, will point to the fact that he himself took HGH for ten years even though he claims he never gave it to his patients.
Galea has treated Dara Torres, the 42-year old Olympian accused of using ban supplements strictly based on her age and elite level of competition, and some NFL players as well.
There is certainly more to come from this story but Tiger’s agent, Mark Steinberg asked for a little bit of discretion before implicating Woods in any performance enhancing drug discussions: “I would really ask that you guys don’t write this? If Tiger is NOT implicated, and won’t be, let’s please give the kid a break,” said Steinberg.

Two options, Tiger used HGH or he and his handlers are the stupidist people on the planet. You have no business in Canada. I think it comes down to him having the feeling he is so great that nothing could happen that he could no talk or buy his way out of.
I\’ve been saying it from day one. Just check out focuscapprez@twitter.com
I woulda thought in this case, “performance enhancing” would mean “viagara.”
This is awesome, please keep writting.
