2010 NFL Draft: 3rd ROUND Mock Draft

By Fireman Mike April 23, 2010

Well, we didn’t do very well in the first round but then again, I’m not sure who did. But we’ll give it a shot for the next couple rounds. The 2nd and 3rd rounds were surprisingly easy to do if you are a good fan of college football thisjoemcknight1 past season. Here’s how we see the 3rd Round panning out:

3RD ROUND

65. St. Louis Joe McKnight, RB USC
66. Detroit Zane Beadles, OG Utah
67. Tampa Bay Corey Wootton, DE Northwestern
68. Kansas City Dennis Pitta, TE BYU - Pitta will be another good one in a great tight end class
69. Oakland Dan LeFevour, QB Central Michigan
70. Baltimore Alex Carrington, DE Arkansas State
71. Cleveland Jason Worldis, OLB Virginia Tech - Worldis can do anything the Browns ask of him, something the Browns haven’t had in camp in a long time.
72. Buffalo Ed Dickson, TE Oregon
73. Miami Jimmy Graham, TE Miami - Didn’t play football until after a great basketball career for the Hurricanes. You bet The Tuna has his eyes on him!
74. Jacksonville Brandon Ghee, CB Wake Forest
75. Chicago Edwin Veldheer, OT Hillsdale - He’s a mammoth on the line, someone who won’t let the rest of the league pound on their new franchise quarterback, Jay Cutler.
76. New York Giants Kao Misi, LB Utah
77. Tennessee Taylor Price, WR Ohio - Price is one of those rare college receivers that can step up right away.
78. Carolina Jevan Snead, QB Mississippi - Snead is the forgotten man in this entire Draft. Carolina remember his name and might end up turning him into their starting quarterback within two years.
79. San Francisco Dezmon Briscoe, WR Kansas - Now they have someone to go to downfield.
80. Denver Major Wright, S Florida
81. Houston Morgan Burnett, S Georgia Tech
82. Pittsburgh Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, Indaina (Pa) - Little school, huge talent. He could help the Steelers secondary immediately.
83. Atlanta Greg Hardy, DE Mississippi
shipley284. Cincinnati Jordan Shipley, WR Texas
85. Cleveland Mike Williams, WR Syracuse - He has as much talent as any of the receivers in this draft but he had issues with the ‘Cuse coaching staff and the way the program was run, constantly losing.
86. Green Bay Montario Hardesty, RB Tennessee
87. Denver Anthony McCoy, TE USC
88. Arizona Arthur Jones, DT Syracuse - Another guy out of The ‘Cuse who was at the top of his class at the beginning of the season.
89. Arizona Mardy Gilyard, WR Cincinnati - Perfect fit in Bengals’ offense.
90. New England Ricky Sapp, DE Clemson - New England gets a menace that can play multiple defensive positions. What else is new?
91. San Diego Perrish Cox, CB Oklahoma State
92. Cleveland Al Woods, DT LSU
93. Minnesota Clay Harbor, Missouri State
chadjones294. Indianapolis Selvish Capers, OL Virginia Tech
95. New Orleans Chad Jones, FS LSU - Throws 94mph off the mound in baseball and receivers think he’s coming that fast at them on the gridiron. He’s a bruising back that can help immediately in the return game. Value
96. Cincinnati Brandon LaFell, WR LSU
97. Tennessee Mike Johnson, G Alabama
98. Atlanta Riley Cooper, WR Florida - Will do anything to help Matt Ryan and the Falcons offense get back to the level it was a few years back.
